Emigration. It sounds like adventure, opportunity, and freedom. Many people have thought about it at some point. Yet only a few actually take the step.
Why do people leave Germany? Where do they go?
And who actually leaves?
These are the questions our project „Imagine You Want to Leave …“ explores.
On an exhibition table, physical and digital elements come together — character cards, a tablet application, and a voting feature — making the topic tangible on multiple sensory levels.

How can we raise awareness for a topic beyond pure data and facts?
Our approach: Telling personal stories with a touch of humor.
Six different character cards provide access to matching chat conversations via QR code. Here, fictional personas share their personal experiences with emigrating — both visually and audibly.
